Planning Appraisals/Due Diligence
We provide a planning appraisal service where we work through a staged process to identify constraints and opportunities for your land or property in order to minimise risk and maximise the potential for your plans to be granted planning permission. The appraisal process involves a desk-based analysis and a site visit cumulating in planning appraisal report which will provide you with useful insights for your project.

Each application is submitted with a supporting planning statement justifying your proposal which minimises the risk of rejection and increases the chance of success. We can also provide supporting planning statements as a stand-alone service should you wish to manage the planning process yourself.
Appeals
You may wish to appeal or seek a local review of the council’s decision. We can review your case and advise on whether or not this would be an appropriate course of action. There may be weaknesses within the original decision or aspects of your proposal which could be strengthened. We will adopt the best strategy to maximise your success should an appeal be considered an appropriate way forward.
Enforcement
You may be in receipt of a letter, planning contravention notice or enforcement notice from the council alleging unauthorised development or a breach of conditions. We can assist throughout the enforcement process and identify potential solutions to remedy breaches of planning control.
Representations
You may be concerned about a proposed development such as new housing development or a wind farm and wish to lodge an objection with the local planning authority. Representations for, against or neutral in relation to a proposed development can be made by anyone and must be based on material planning considerations.
